Built in 1892, same year as the Lodge, this cabin is rustic having the original, wide-planked pine floor, exposed beams,, loft bedroom with a king bed, living area has a double futon, and one bath with shower. Though the kitchen is old it is fully equipped except for a dishwasher and there is a large stone covered patio across the front living area that overlooks the spacious lawn and gardens leading to the Lodge. Downstairs is heated with a propane “wood-type” stove, upstairs is baseboard heat. Window A/C unit both downstairs and in the upstairs bedroom. Pet friendly with a $35 pet fee and you must provide a crate.
The Cabin is available for reservations June 1st through February 28th. In March, April, and May, it is a dedicated space for Appalachian Trail thru-hikers.
